Those amazing Los Angeles filming locations paid off golden dividends for Milk Inc. The Storm, their latest track, shot to #1 position instantly after release. The track connected with the audience when first Milk Inc played their songs during the ‘Ornelis & Rogiers Morning Show’ at Q-Music radio station. They performed the acoustic version there and talked a little about the new singles, great Los Angeles locations and the video. Few days later, Storm has its world premier on Radio MNM on the MNM Top 50. The new single has been introduced during the last years of Blackout Concerts. It was also featured during the TMF Awards and they performed this new song with their live band.
The video has been extensively and exquisitely shot at Los Angeles film locations. It’s here that the cast and crew of the video got those amazing visuals of the city and its surroundings. The scene stealing hillocks, Hollywood as backdrop when protagonist drives by, melancholic murky sky, designer trees with their share of shades in a despondent evening milieu, the video was shot in some awesome picture postcard locations thus enhancing the visual power of the script massively.
Milk Inc was founded by Regi Penxten (born March 4, 1976) and Linda Mertens (born 20 July, 1978). Regi started producing songs since the age of 11, By 18 he successfully released Underground and Trance EP on the Dance Opera and Illusion Label. And with these two releases he got friends’ love and peoples’ adoration. High on success and positive feedback, Regi decided he would make ‘music’ his career. In between, he was busy in deejaying, his all time love, but after Milk Inc’s international success he could not get much time to spend on deejaying. Regi is known for his style of mix for Trance, Vocals, House, Groove, 2Steps and R&B.
The other member, Linda Mertens (born July 20, 1978) also wanted to become a singer. She was part of a rock band called, Secret Fantasy. But that never took off and the group broke through. In 2000, Linda met Regi at a club. Regi liked her voice and since then Linda has been a lead singer for the band.
“I was struck, by your lightning. It happened so fast. Like a flash, so exciting.” This is how the chartbuster Storm begins. It’s a powerful lyric, a post break up song. The song required powerful, urban and dynamic visuals which are aesthetically shot in film locations of Los Angeles. All Pictures Media’s film location scouting members from Los Angeles office have come up with locations that blended well with the story. Location scouts made sure the subtle changes to the property are done as per requirement. The team has pre-negotiated terms and agreements with respective location officials and local councils. The exquisite look of video directed by Peter van Eyndt has added much desired visual value to the song. This visually thrilling production opened to #1 position in charts. Nomansland is already a memorable album with a high replay value. The other songs of the album are also great to listen to like “Fire” and “Chasing The Wind,” and Linda does a great job as usual with her vocals.
